Hi there. I'm Henry — a full-stack developer. I majored in medicine and surgery at college.
I’ve completed four years of medical school—just one more to go. It takes forever!
I genuinely love medicine, but I was drawn to the excitement coding gives me, especially when I build
something
new. That’s how I ended up in development.
I build both mobile and web applications, though my experience leans more heavily toward the web.
The influence of medicine is unmistakable in my coding work—most of the tools I create are focused on
improving
healthcare efficiency and solving clinical problems through digital solutions, as you’ll see in the
projects
section.
But my work doesn’t stop there. I also have a knack for building tools for education, the environment,
real
estate, and managing personal finances.
I love AI and machine learning. I strongly believe that AI has democratized and accelerated learning in
a way
that rivals, if not surpasses, past technological revolutions.
I’m a generalist and an avid fiction reader, always curious about everything. Ask me about geopolitics,
culture,
astrophysics, film, art — you name it.
Music is also a huge part of my life. The structured rhythm in sound is like a free emotional regulator
for me.

-
dev stack: react, react native, vite, node.js, supabase, firebase, docker, postgresql, android studio, [render, heroku, and google cloud platform] for hosting... and so on.
-
machine learning and data science: i use R and python. mostly R. RStudio is cleaner than jupyter notebooks.
-
font: vt323, always. simsun and times new romans, sometimes
-
i can't forget intuition and good taste. every developer needs that!
-
tb-screening-assistant — an app that predicts tuberculosis from clinical symptoms and cough sounds using machine learning. to be used in low-resource settings by physicians as a quick screening tool. project expected to be completed by august 2025. it's a collaboration with ml students at carnegie mellon university - africa.
-
MediSync — smart hospital management app for patient records, billing, inventory, expenses and staff. soon ready for deployment.
-
My Smart School — a smart school management system that allows school administrators to manage their student registration and database, report card generation, and fees payment records. initially written in rshiny but now being rewritten in react + vite.

Property Link — a real estate solution that allows real estate agents to manage their clients and properties. clients can be added, properties can be added, and properties can be viewed. still at concept development stage.
-
Med Notes — a site that has easy to undestand notes for medical students and professionals. the notes are written in markdown and rendered using latex and will be downloadable as pdfs. still at concept development stage.
-
Video game — are you even a developer if you've never thought of building a video game? planning on building something that has some aspect of staying afloat/not sinking. literally!
-
building this modern personal site. i love that it gives coding terminal vibes
-
blogging. i’ve always found joy in the act of holding a thought for hours—turning it over, following it wherever it leads. it feels unjust to ourselves to adopt beliefs reflexively, without questioning where they came from or why they’ve taken root in our minds. this blog will be my way of thinking out loud. i’ll explore anything from ethics, technology, health, culture, and the arts to philosophy (or rather, pseudo-philosophy—i'm no proper philosopher). it'll live right here on this site. you can access it here.
-
exploring supabase edge functions for secure API logic
-
exploring developer friendly payment options whose apis i can incorporate in my applications to permit financial transactions
-
writing cleaner react + vite apps with minimal dependencies
-
finishing medical school, of course!
